Go to Portfolio > Master Data > Ledgers > Add New

3. Can I add a new ledger while booking a voucher?

Yes, you can add new ledger while booking a voucher by clicking on the “Add New Ledger” button.

4. Can I export the list of existing Ledgers in excel sheet?

Yes you can, go to: Portfolio > Master Data > Ledgers > Export Excel

5. Can I print the list of existing Ledgers?

Yes you can, go to: Portfolio > Master Data > Ledgers > Print

6. After creating a Ledger can I view the same?

Yes, you can edit the Ledger. Go to: Portfolio > Master Data > Ledgers > View

8. After creating a Ledger can I delete the same?

Yes, you can delete the ledger. Go to: Portfolio > Master Data > Ledgers > Delete

8. How can you search a ledger from long list?

You can search ledger by it's name or can search by group name like current assets, fixed assets, etc. provided on the top of the page.

8. Whether a ledger can directy be created while making a voucher?

Yes, you can directly create a ledger while creating a voucher you don't need to create it by again going to master data.

Reports

1. What are the reports available to me?

Following reports are available to you:

2. For which time period I can view the reports?

You can view the reports for the following time periods:

3. Can I view the graphical presentation of these reports?

Yes, the graphical presentation of these reports is available on the dashboard.

4. Can I print these reports?

Yes you can, go to: Portfolio > Reports > Select Desired Report > Print

5. Can I export these reports in excel?

Yes you can, go to: Portfolio > Reports > Select Desired Report > Export

1. How I can create a new customer?

Go to Portfolio > Master Data > Customers > Add New

2. Can I bulk import the customers through an excel sheet?

Yes you can, go to: Portfolio > Master Data > Customers >Import Excel > Click here for demo excel. Download the demo excel file as mentioned above & then fill it accordingly & then upload it back.

3. Can I add a new customer while making an invoice?

You have an option to search your customer by his Name, e-Mail and GST no. Search text box is available under the Customer Details Title

1. How I can create a new Vendors?

Go to Portfolio > Master Data > Vendors > Add New

1. How I can create a new Bank?

Go to Portfolio > Master Data > Banks > Add New

9. Can I select the bank while making the invoices?

If you have added a bank in the master data, then while making invoice you can select the bank from SELECT PAYMENT MODE.

Cash

1. How I can create Cash?

In the Master Data -> Cash -> Add New

2. How can I add opening balance of cash ?

Master Data->Cash, During add new cash or Edit cash, Key in the opening balance in the space provided there.

3. Can I print the list of existing Cash?

Yes, In the Master Data-> Cash -> Print

4. After creating a Cash can I edit the same?

Yes, you can edit the Cash.

5. After creating a Bank can I delete the same?

Yes, you can delete the Cash.

6. Can I select the Cash while making the invoices?

If you have added a Cash in the master data, then while making invoice you can select the Cash from SELECT PAYMENT MODE.

Services

1. How I can create a new service?

Go to Portfolio > Master Data > Services > Add New

2. Do I have to search for SAC Codes over the internet?

No, SAC Codes list is already provided by us under the lookup tab while creating new services.

3. Can I set the GST Rate for a service?

Yes, as soon as you will select the SAC Code from the list provided under the lookup button, the tax rate will be automatically attached to that particular service.

4. Can I set the Selling Price for a service?

Yes, you can do so while creating a service.

5. Can I add a new service while making an invoice?

Yes, you can add a new service while making an invoice by clicking on the “Add new service” button.

6. Can I bulk import the services through an excel sheet?

Yes you can, go to: Portfolio > Master Data > Services >Import Excel > Click here for demo excel. Download the demo excel file as mentioned above & then fill it accordingly & then upload it back.

7. After creating service can I edit the same?

Yes, you can edit the service. Go to: Portfolio > Master Data > Services > Edit

Yes, you can delete the service. Go to: Portfolio > Master Data > Services > Delete

Profile

1. What information is there in profile?

All the basic details of your company are available in profile namely: 1 Company Name 2 GSTIN 3 CIN/Aadhar 4 PAN 5 Referral Code 6 Mobile No. 7 Address 8 Company Website URL 9 Company Logo

2. How I can edit my company profile?

To edit the company profile, go to: Portfolio > Profile > Edit Company Profile

3. How I can change my password?

To change the password, go to: Portfolio > Profile > Change Password .

4. How I can create a sub-user?

To create a sub-user, go to: Portfolio > Profile > Create Sub User

5. Can I decide which permissions/rights I want to give to the sub-user?

Yes, you can choose the permission/rights of each sub-user separately. For this, while creating a sub-user you can provide permissions/rights to sub-user whether he can add, view, edit or delete anything or not.

6. How can I view all my sub-users ?

To view all sub-users go to: Profile > View Sub User

7. How can I edit, delete or view any sub-user ?

Go to: Profile>View Sub User and then click on edit, view or delete option available on the right side of the respective sub-user.

Item

1. How can I create a new Item ?

For creating new Item, Go to: Master data -> Item -> Add New, there you need to keyin all the necessary details and click on Submit Button.

2. What details are required to be filled for creating an Item?

First You have to choose whether the Item is for " Self Consumption or Resale". By default Resale is selected. If you choose Self Consumption, the Created Item will not populate during invoice creation.
You need to Keyin " * Item Name , Quantity, HSN code, UQC, Barcode, Purchase price, Sales price".
No need to keyin IGST , CGST, SGST rates, these will be autopopulated once you select the correct HSN Code.

(*) shows the mandatory field.

3. Can I bulk Import the items through an Excel sheet ?

Yes, Click on the Import button under Item Details, This will open the Import Item Page, Choose the excel file and then click on the Upload button.

Click on the Demo excel button, this will Download the demo excel file. Fill the necessary fields accordingly and SAVE AS in the csv format before uplaod.

4. Can I export the existing Item details on an Excel ?

Yes, Click on the Export button in the Item Details, This will automatically save the existing Item details into your PC through Excel.

5. Can I take print out of all the existing Items?

Yes, Click on the Print button in the Item Details. This will print all your existing Item details.

6. Can I Modify the Created Item?

Yes, To modify the created Item, Click on the appropreate i button from the left side under action column according to your needs.
To Edit -> click on Edit i button. To Delete -> Click on Delete i button. To View -> click on the View i button.

7. How can I edit, delete or view any sub-user ?

Go to: Profile>View Sub User and then click on edit, view or delete option available on the right side of the respective sub-user.
